I too spoke to him a couple times and heard the exact same things you describe. It was quite amusing wasn't it?!

At least he wasn't bored during the first leg of his trip. Hopefully the second part of his trip will go more smoothly. And maybe he won't have to litter again! :)

Indeed. And I believe I will wait for his return to the blog-o-sphere to share his littering story! ;-) That was hideous...

Hideous indeed! :)

My solution would have been different. I would have removed all living cargo to a safe stand off distance, then burnt the vehicle down to its axles. These electrical fires happen all the time on a long drive. ;-) I don't hold up well when faced with Bio HAZMAT cleanup situations!

It may be easier to burn a Cavalier to the ground than an Avalon. I ask you sir to see the world through my eyes first, then make that decision!

That may be so, but I believe they would both start with just one match.... after that the only difference is time! ;-)

Or dollar amount...

I suppose that depends on the quantity of SUN Servers and MAC boxes in the respective trunks...

Oooooh, good point.

There was no other course of action.

Oh yes there was. I refer you to my "way out" above...
