Red Blood Cells are an odd choice for an avatar:

Especially for someone not in the medical field.

Why not white blood cells? Or even plasma?

Odd.

Yes sir, I believe it is. The boy loves him some Opera.

Opera I loves it I do!

P.S. I do not use Firefox on my Ubuntu box. Intead, I use Opera.

P.P.S. I'm thinking about killing WinXP and putting Ubuntu on my laptop. If only the damned thing would run the Live CD so I could get an idea of how it will perform prior to installation.

Running binaries off optical media will in no way give you even a rough estimate of performance. Ever.

Would it not stand to reason that if the live CD worked and flowed flawlessly that the installed OS would be much faster?

Yes and no. The Live CD can work flawlessly, but you can muck-up the install to the point things don't work, and vise versa. Its going to be a good test for your video, sound & network drivers, however.

Why yes, it is! Good eye sir.

No wonder your Firefox-using people don't get the real world. That sir, is a wonderful avatar (and wallpaper) of the Opera logo. I'm sorry you cannot distinguish the difference.

I assumed it was the Opera logo, but why anyone would iconify it - well, suffice it to say it made more sense that someone outside of the medical field would use red blood cells as their avatar rather than an Opera logo.

And just to clarify...are those little O's pretending to be red blood cells? WTF?

I need a "yes" or "no" answer to this question: are you retarded?

An informal poll revealed that 10 out of 10 people thought those were red blood cells.

Informal polls are not scientific

You thought that the avatar was red blood cells? And you dare to call yourself a SysAdmin when you can't indentify the icon of the best browser on earth!

That should tell you something about your browser now, shouldn't it ;)

Either I'm as Sysadmin who knows my shit, or I'm joe user out there dicking around with Opera. You can't have it both ways.
