I took the kids to this gigantic park and my boy was Red Power Ranger, I was Blue Power Ranger, and Granpa Mike was Green Power Ranger. As there was no one else there that morning, we fought bad guys across the entire park, keeping up with the little guy.
My 5-year old bought a 1994 Milton-Bradley Mighty-Morphin' Power Rangers board game at a garage sale for $.50. It didn't come with any instructions. I found some online and we played several games. He was pretty excited. Although it was boring as hell, I hugged him tight when I left and thanked him for buying such a cool game for us to play. I can already see where next weekend will be spent...
I turned down Texas Hold'em at David and Wendy's last night 'cause I'm an ass. (Not because it took me 7.5 hours to make the 5 hour trip from Wichita to Texas and it was an impromptu game and I was expected at my folks around the time the game was to start.) Will hopefully play this evening at Tony's, as it's my weekly trek to Richardson to play with Daisy and clean her kitty box.
Apparently here at work they're still migrating NT boxes to the new domain. Us unix guys were brought it to augment the effort several weeks ago. Funny how after two days they didn't invite us back?
So I go looking for album art to add my three Midori CD's to iTunes, and low and behold what do I find? THREE more Midori CD's I now MUST HAVE!
Mendelssohn, Bruch: Violin Concertos
Wonderful! Just added to my Wish List. When's my birthday?
I'm going to take Tony out to dinner tonight, his choice of restaurant. He doesn't know this yet. And maybe return a book to Barnes & Noble if I remember to swing by the ADC and pick up the receipt.
The Higgliosaurus Corner:
HIGGS! Returned from a 4-day weekend in Tampa, Flordia. Good Cuban sandwiches, but he didn't try the best Key Lime Pie on the planet!
