In two notably unexpected moves, I installed Opera on my laptop (as I needed a secondary browser and didn't want to use IE) and got falling-down drunk Monday night at
Opera (so far) appears to be playing well. Its quick, and has some nifty features, but it displays just like IE, so other than being more secure, I really don't see the point.
Slapped some third-party SIIG USB card into my Sun Ultra10 in hopes of setting up Amarok to rip CDs and manipulate the iPod and boy was I surprised when...it worked! dmesg reveals:

The boy woke me up at 0515 because of lighting. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I went to work.
I had a gorgeous breakfast of eggs, hash browns, biscuit & gravy - all topped generously with Tabasco's chiptole sauce. Fantastic! For giggles, I washed it all down with my first Monster in over a week. Oh yeah, I'll be unstoppable today. Un-fscking-stoppable!
