Searched and searched
Where is the justice
Couldn't find it
So in God I trust this mind to
So it's strong and fruitful
Am what I am
Black and it's beautiful
Not political
But aware
Power Lord
With a Powerful stare
Never bow down to a mortal man
Here I stand at my own command

I LOVE it! It's so purple, and the background is gorgeous!

I'm also amused by the newly purplish backgrounds in the header images. :)
ehowton at 2008-02-02 06:08 (UTC) (Link)
As always, ma'am - you flatter me. And thank you. I retouched all the header images, each one using a different technique. Its in the details, you know.

Also - well, I'm rather embarrassed to admit it, but I actually paid for wallpaper. You don't know this, but I don't pay for ANYTHING. Alas, I could not find, anywhere - not even with my Google trick of searching unsuspecting Windows boxes, this wallpaper. Pay for it I did. But when the time comes, and come it will, I shall place it on wilddamntexan amongst my scores and tell those select few who have need to know.

I'm pleased you approve. Many kudos go to galinda822 for being my voice of reason (I was getting too flamboyant with the purple, and she helped reel me in. Like a marlin...)

The new background is awesome!!!

When are you going to fix mine, you've been promising to do it since you set the account up.

Yes, you do have a tendency to be "too flamboyant" kinda like Trelane from Star Trek.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

1. Have you had a chance to go through the wallpapers I set on your new XP box?

2. I would LOVE to set yours up. However, many different themes have different options available (I'm not allowed to just barge into the CSS code and start hacking). Send me your passwd (in email, of course) & an idea as to what you want - you won't be disappointed!

I'm listening to the Stardust score and it is just as awesome as the movie. Want it?

The purple is loud...the Fountainesque image on the right is a bit harsh on the eyes.

Why do you not AIM on these late night sessions like you used to?
ehowton at 2008-02-02 09:09 (UTC) (Link)
I am, and have been. It shows you as sleeping, tiny dancer.

Superior work Sir. The sites new "skin" looks excellent. ;-)

Of course I am just a tiny bit biased toward Purple in general (weird since most of my stuff is black... hmm interesting) but anyway... :-)

I give it an A+ /or\ 10 whichever scale you wish to function off of today. :-)

Thank you ma'am.

I'm bored. Amuse me with a funny comment.

The Washington Post runs a weekly contest in its Style section called the
'Style Invitational'.

The requirements this week were to use the two words 'Lewinsky' (the
Intern) and 'Kaczynski' (the Unabomber) in the same limerick.

Now, remember, the following winning entries were actually printed verbatim
in the newspaper, no bleeps or xxxs:

Third place:

There once was a girl named Lewinsky
Who played on a flute like Stravinsky
'Twas 'Hail to the Chief'
On this flute made of beef
That stole the front page from Kaczynski.

Second place:

Said Clinton to young Ms. Lewinsky,
We don't want to leave clues like Kaczynski,
Since you made such a mess,
Use the hem of your dress
And please wipe that stuff off your chinsky.

And the winning entry:

Lewinsky and Clinton have shown
What Kaczynski must surely have known,
That an intern is better
Than a bomb in a letter,
When deciding how best to be blown.

Ooh, shiny!

Very nicely done. And not just because purple is my favorite color.

Thank you ma'am, though it doesn't seem that long ago that I went from green to blue. Sheesh - I just looked it up...only seven months. Huh.

Jealousy is not a good trait to have

but refrigerators don't have traits...

My, my, the Russian is pretty tasty. I'll fill you in on the Irish Blend and Nut-Up as they disappear from my fridge this week. I foresee much tastyness.

Re: Jealousy is not a good trait to have

I've not even seen them out here yet. Yes, please do - tell all!

in other news

I sent some out of band mail, but didn't realize you were using a yahoo account. It probably got blackholed; you might want to check your spam bin. I kept a copy if necessary.

Thanks for pinging me.

The purple looks cool :)

I love the loverly purple color of your new journal. I also love how it overlays your old one. Awesomeness. Very easy on the eyes.

Me too, at first it hurt my eye's, now it just hypnotizes me.
