  1. Wow

  2. I thought I was ineligible

  3. Even if I wasn't, it shouldn't have been this much

  4. I was not expecting this

America...Fuck yeah!

I was not expecting this
Having kids greatly helped to give you a higher amount.

I meant it simply as, "I didn't think I'd be receiving a check" as I am familiar with child credit. As far as the amount, I guess it didn't come across as clear, but what I meant to say, was, "it shouldn't have been this much" as I only have two children, and am familiar with child credit. On top of that, despite being familiar with child credit, I thought I was ineligible.

Thank you for this exercise in futility.

Now will you be a "good" American and blow it like they want you too, or a smart American and blow some of it and invest the rest?

I'm still looking for my check. I'm expecting a whopper with my 3 kids!!!

I don't generally do anything anyone expects me to. And if yours is anything like mine, add it up, then add $600 to it.

I'll take this type of surprise every now and again. And already have something to look forward to next year: Points on the house + one year's worth of interest which I wasn't eligible for this year (though I was allowed to include my move and the car ;)

Its good to be the king.

Oddly enough, despite thinking I was ineligible this year, being familiar with child credit - what I was trying to convey was it was more than I would have expected had I been expecting it, which I wasn't.

I really don't know what I'm saying wrong.

I get child credit every year: THIS WAS MORE.

I was told last night they send them out according to the last two digits of your social security number. How you're supposed to calculate that into arrival time I have no idea!
