Current Music: "Star Wars" - an a capella tribute to John Williams

In four minutes, this individual talented a capellist, representing four discrete versions of himself, and adding Star Wars-themed lyrics, "sings" the following in harmony with...himself:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial
Jurassic Park
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

This is unique in that I broke my personal rule of refusing to watch any YouTube video over two-minutes in length. I've watched this one three times already.

Ganked from nimbusthedragon.

Thought it would be fun to throw on my iPod.

I'd hit it, despite my thoughts on blondes.

All four of him simultaneously? Don't answer that. I'm going to assume you mean individually, and not collectively. Ah, the marvels of digital video... Pardon me while I go replicate myself!

It's kind of you to assume that. Inaccurate, though. ;)

I saw this a few days ago... much better than that annoying "movie theme with lyrics" guy that was floating around the 'net a couple of months ago. The harmonies were quite well done. This certainly gives the term "multi-tracking" a new meaning...

hiro_antagonist has been posting on 'tracking music' and while I enjoyed the harmony in this video, in the back of my mind I kept wondering how very difficult this must have been to synchronize post-production.

As it turns out, this was actually created by a four-man A Cappella group Moosebutter; he's not actually singing all four parts himself, that's just the video. An impressive feat nonetheless!

I discovered that earlier today after researching revolos55's comment. I wonder if their other stuff is just as inventive?

That was totally awesome!!!!! I have now watched it 4 times consecutively!

I wish that I had the patience to sift through all the crap on YouTube to find these awesome video's!

Next time you and I drink absinthe together, let's try something similar!
