celtmanx has, over the years, provided me with an embarrassingly large amount of Star Wars and Star Trek Hallmark ornaments. So many in fact, that one Christmas my wife set up an entirely "Sci-Fi" tree.

I was in my boy's room reading his nightly story to him, when I found Mr. AT-AT Walker upon a shelf and decided to take a picture of him using my monitor as a backdrop.

Someday, I will have an sf-themed Christmas tree. This I vow!

(It will be even more fun than putting Artoo, trilobites, dinosaurs, and Halloween skeletons into a nativity scene.)

What a great opportunity to show off the most perfect avatar for this post!

I was wondering if anyone would get the irony if I put a FSM decorated tree this year.

And I don't know about your comparison - that nativity scene was made of win.

If memory serves, it was displayed at the 2007 Party and I asked catttitude if we had any pics of it. She thinks we do. Finding them however, is an entirely different issue.

Best I could come up with. You can't see much - even when you know what you're looking for. I tried to highlight what I saw: The Millennium Falcon, Queen Amidala, a Borg Cube, a Naboo Starfighter, a Jedi Starfighter, Darth Vader's Tie Figher, an Imperial Star Destroyer, the Death Star, 7of9, and a Droid Tri-Fighter.

Damn Skippy!

Just remember, I was the first one to wish you a happy birthday this year, Ye Old Bastard! Rachel Ray said she can only do her strip tease on the actual birthday though, so don't be thinking that you're going to get two dances.
