DVD BOX SETS ON LOAN

Posted on 2009.09.22 at 21:05

Hokay - Lots of different people have lots of my DVD Box Sets and I mostly know who has what. Mostly. However, I'm starting to forget. I think I have something like 30 seasons of various television shows on loan. So...by any means possible, please let me know what you have. And if you haven't watched something in six months (drax0r) please return them and you are more than welcome to borrow them again when you're ready!!!

Thanks everyone!

Reposting your tweets is boring.

Once, no. But when it becomes rote, absolutely. Anything dull done in a repetitive manner (posting post after post after post of local politics, for example) is enough to make people hate you, even undeservedly. Moreso when they hate you to begin with.

I'm just saying.

I'm sure it has nothing whatsoever to do with my magnanimous nature in loaning out the sheer number of DVD box sets I do. They say the mind is the first to go.

Here's a little help, I currently do not have any of your boxed sets on loan.

Thank you.

Stargate: Atlantis for example is 210-episodes across 10-seasons, 5-discs per season - 50 physicals disks to !DVDSHRINK!

I ain't got that kinda time, though if I could find some way to automate it, that sounds like a really good idea.

I never let people borrow my shit. It goes missing or gets damaged too easily. This goes more for CDs than DVDs, but still - yeesh.

I agree about the CDs - thankfully they're easy and inexpensive to reproduce.

I do not have any of your Box Sets residing in Idaho. But since you aren't keeping all your eggs in one basket, I'm sure I could keep some in safe keeping for you.

It is easy to keep your memory when there isn't much of it to keep. I only have one show's box set -- Quantum Leap all seasons.

I am so anal when I lend movies and books, I keep a list with the dates and names of who borrowed what. :)

Smart. Very smart. I'm considering an online version of just that.
