I don’t mind having the additional clutter all the much if they’re keepers, besides they are one the few things the kids can afford to buy me for Xmas and know I’ll like.

Ditching media: In a few years I plan on setting up a video & audio file server that for our entertainment systems to save space. Not until we’re done with daycare though so I have the $$ to do it properly.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of my media. Sure, I have all my CDs ripped to my hard drive, but I like having the cases on display. Part of the fun of buying a DVD is getting to hold it in your hand and display it on an already over-full shelf. I like the media centre idea, and I plan to do that sometime, but it'll be in addition to the physical media, I think.

I know what you mean, but things get out of hand after awhile. I think I’d like to have more space for memorabilia over media. In our what will eventually be the club room I’d like to hang framed movie posters with mementos. We’ll see.

I've actually wanted some game posters for a long time now, but they seem incredibly hard to come by. I'm guessing they don't get reprinted like movie posters do. I'd love Planescape: Torment/Baldur's Gate/NWN posters.

My son has a poster of Sonic the Hedgehog my MIL found him at the local Blockbuster. They'd be new ones, but a great way to start your collection.
