Took the kids to breakfast this morning. I'm sitting here on free Wi-Fi sipping a McCafe cappuchino. I don't know what happened to McDonald's in the past 10-years, but I like it.

"Ba-da-ba-ba-baaaa, I'm lovin' it..." is their new catch-phrase for a reason :D

Aye. Even Starbucks doesn't do that.

yeah but, these days, Starbucks seems to pride itself on being the least economical game in town rather than the best...

My first born knows the place as ba-ba Donalds from that catchy little jingle.

I go to McD's a couple of mornings a week for a Latte. They are cheap, yummy and I get to sit for as long as I want without feeling like I have to hurry out. Evenings I choose Costa Coffee for their hot chocolate with cream.

Haven't tried the latte yet, though I've been tempted. Since I discovered this little jewel I've been back twice.

Desperate times call for desperate measures ;)

I don't see it as desperate (although, my bed ridden self would kill for McDs right now). I reckon so many people buy coffee from McDs that you'll never get bitter, end of the pot, day old coffee. It is consistently yummy.

I think it was the experience of owning stock in Chipolte. McDonald's learned how a real restaurant is supposed to work.
