I'll feel stupid asking this, but I will cause I can't help it and that... animal is scary looking. And I should say I've lived in the city [really no animals] all my life...

..but what is that animal on the first photo? It's not a cow, is it? I hope not, I thought cows were cute. :| A... bull?

It's a Texan Longhorn.

Ohhhh. Thank you. :)

It looks scary. :| But then I wouldn't have to worry about seeing one. I live on the other side of the world. Yay.

They're actually quite gentle and intelligent. Somewhere on my home computer (not online apparently) I have a picture of my toddler son sitting atop one in Fort Worth's (Cowtown) Stockyards district - the city's official symbol.

most people think Holstein when they think "cow"

they're the world's biggest dairy producers and even more adorable in person

I'll feel a bit stupid again, but this, the black and white type, is the only type of cow I can think of when I think of... cows. :| I just realized now that there are other.. colors. :P [I think I should get out more.]

cows - all cows, with no exceptions - are not cute.
anakngtinapa at 2010-04-07 05:05 (UTC) (Link)
:O How can you say that?! They're cute. [Well, it's probably just me, because I've only seen cows on milk cartons and of course, Cow.]

what kind of bird is that?
The kind that was tiny, and bright blue on the top with a reddish head. They appeared to have scissortails. And that's all I know about that.

definitely Zen :)
*ideal* for forms. I made it for a friend who won't listen to anything that is not separated into discrete tracks despite the fact that he's knowledgeable enough to recognize individual composers by hearing them. One of those cut-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face types. We all know one.

could be a small swallow of some sort with the scissor tail *shrugs*

*nods* we all know the type. It's a lovely mix and I'm sure it really helps a person just calm down and focus on forms

The picture of the Steer feels like home to me =)
It reminds me of Alberta and of my mom's family.

My folks live out a ways. I used to live there also and commuted 75-miles to work. When I moved back to Texas from Saint Louis I chose to live a mere 8-minutes away from work.
