Hmmm, my ideas may be a little dull, but it's things I have fun photographing:

- A bursting water balloon
- Sparklers
- All manner of peeling / aging / rusting objects
- Epitaphs
- Store signs
- Macros of pretty much anything

I'm already pushing the limits of what my poor little point & shoot can do, and I'm pretty sure "a bursting water balloon" isn't on that list :(

But the other ones! I've seen some amazing things you've shot with peeling/aging/rusting.

Oh, and what ever statues do when they start to decompose :P

I wonder how fast of a shutter speed your camera can go up to. This could make for all kinds of interesting learning experiences if you got one of the kids to volunteer to be your assistant.

Manually adjustable aperture setting ranging from a maximum of f/2.7 to f/3.5 depending on lens zoom position, to a minimum of f/8.0

Shutter speed range from 1/3,200 to 15 seconds (although not all shutter speeds are available at all f-stops and focal lengths
