Standing in the front yard of the Juniper House with the sunset behind me.

The Juniper House as seen from the road, blending into its surroundings.

Looking into the front yard over the wall adjacent the gate.

Looking at the Eastern mountains from the road, toward Angel Fire.

At the front yard gate.

Mountains from every window.

Sitting on the back porch in front of the Master Bedroom windows.

Thank you! My "old" layout seemingly developed a bug of sorts during one of those transparent livejournal upgrades disallowing me from using my much-needed "preview" option :(

Great Pics sir, wish I was there. Texas is great. New job is a new stress but a good new stress. It appears that stress is not in your vocabulary at the moment. Believe it or not things appear organized. LOL. :)

new job?

Wow, very picturesque scenery! Woudl love to be there.

Someone said something about a new job? Am I missing out on information because it has been so long since we have seen each other?

Re: new job?

No new job for me - just my first vacation since 1999! But interesting that you mentioned our sad estrangement, as I was thinking the time in nigh for a driveway get-together as I was driving in from New Mexico...

And soon, very soon, Sandlot softball will be upon us!

Awesome pics!

Which fisheye lens are you using? It doesn't look like the standard Canon 15mm...

Re: Awesome pics!

What a compliment! Because I only have an ancient point & shoot (Canon S3) I have to use a converter lens. This one is the Opteka 0.20X fisheye.

I am eyeballing the new Canon G12...just waiting for the G13 to come out so the price will drop.
