Dreamed two nights in a row that my only friend, companion, was my pet cat, Marko Ramius, who could also talk. Awkwardly, he was a British cyborg with no understanding of anything American and would, at times transformer-style transform into somebritinmass. The thing about Marko, whether he was in cat-form or somebritinmass-from, is that he continually got me in trouble. He was either leaping into moving muscle cars to start a fight with the driver into racing me (I kept telling him that my Tirburon couldn't outrun a 1970 Oldsmobile 442, but he didn't care), or placing puppies with full-bladders on my bed because he didn't think about the consequences. it was all very frustrating having him as my only friend.

[In seeing your pet cat in your dream as a male] may have been urging you to place more reliance on your instincts when dealing with a current situation.

Last night however, was a completely different type of dream. drax0r and I were in college together - studying something like microbiology - and the four of us, myself, drax0r, mr_dowg and our best friend onthetrails were watching a previously recorded video of my bachelor party where everyone was lip-syncing to some catchy song. The thing of it was, mr_dowg was really, really good - like, Numa Numa guy good, so we were all hanging around the deserted campus cafeteria trying to figure out the best way to produce a real video of mr_dowg lip-syncing to put on the internet.

To hear singing in a dream is a symbol of self-expression or the desire to be more creative and feeling.

Then michelle1963 showed up. She'd had a carbon monoxide incident and was on dimished lung capacity. I felt terrible because she'd harmed herself saving me - rather, thinking she was saving me. She had permanent damage sacrificing herself for my well-being when I wasn't in danger. It was a selfless, stupid move, and I was devastated. She was on oxygen permanently, but I found later that's only what she wanted me to hear. She was really on morphine because she didn't have long to live. I could not look her in the eye, yet that was all she really wanted from me. I reached down to hug her, and lost it. I lost it even though I wasn't; the one who was going to die. I was, however, the one who would have to live without her.

Dreaming of repiratory ailments or breathing problems can suggest general anxiety about work, relationships, or a difficult situation.
