Treasure Map!

Imagine my surprise (and my son's surprise as he was home sick that day) when I got a package of sorts in the mail from KingsIsle (especially since I had no idea they new both my name and my address) emblazoned with the Pirate101 logo and the words, "Hidden treasure awaits within!" in Treasure Map Deadhand font. It was sealed on three sides and stiff as if if contained a CDROM. I couldn't have been more wrong, however when opening up revealed a treasure map!

Five clues to guide to you a promo code, and I'll admit the last two were rather tough - but what fun! And I will admit here that since the Pirate101 launch, I haven't logged into Wizard101 at all (though I do plan to get back to it one day).

The website also has a seek-and-find game you can play with the map, which fits nicely into this week as my daughter and I have been going through the Walter Wick book I Spy: Treasure Hunt in the fictional town of Smuggler's Cove. As she hasn't seen the map yet (she's been too busy playing Pirate101), I'll spring this one on her tonight.

What a neat promo, KingsIsle!
