Dude, talk about coincidences. I just watched the Alice miniseries. As in, this morning. And then I got bit by a plot bunny.

That's a fantastic cast. The White Knight is one of my favorite characters on that one. The score, while it works for the mini-series, was difficult to integrate here with its funky jazztasticness.

I appreciated yesterday's sneak peek (or should I say sneak listen?). As a child, I always found Alice's story rather terrifying. Wonderland was anything but wonderful. (As an adult i find the story bizarre yet fascinating.) You have managed to capture the underlying emotion I have had about Alice's adventures with this mix. It is really quite creepy. Well done!

THANKS! That was of course, the idea...

I can't get the damn thing to play for me. Of course I'm trying to either open or save it and then listen to it in windows media player. Help?
ehowton at 2013-07-02 22:13 (UTC) (Link)
Might have been the unix compression; try this: http://wilddamntexan.com/kids/7z442.exe

Its what I use to uncompress unix compressed files on Windows.
ehowton at 2013-07-03 02:45 (UTC) (Link)
Did that work?
dawaioser at 2013-07-03 10:03 (UTC) (Link)
No. :( Oh well.
ehowton at 2013-07-03 15:25 (UTC) (Link)
Since its kind of a big deal to me that you get this prior to your Mad Hatter party, "Oh well" is not an option!

I uploaded it as a Windows ZIP file and changed the links. So if you would ma'am, download again from this page, unzip, and enjoy!

(That totally came out wrong - download, uncompress and enjoy...)

YAAAAAAY - it worked, it worked! ';^) Thanks!

Please let me know what you think!

Love it, and especially the classical pairings with the "freaky-weird" songs, lol. You know me, I'm all about the SpO0Ky. >;^)

This was especially nice ---->

Fungiferous Flora

"American McGee's Alice" [VG]
Chris Vrenna

The Flower Duet (Léo Delibes' opera Lakmé)

"The Ultimate Collection"
Katherine Jenkins.

Awesome! Thanks :) Not everyone likes the dichotomy of songs I weave together. And there were only two tracks which were decidedly *not* Alice in Wonderland (but which I thought fit well into the overall piece) and The Flower Duet was one of them.

And speaking of spooky, it spooked my 13 year-old, so I consider that a success!
