When I am not in pain, hydrocodone behaves like aspirin - its difficult to tell I've taken any at all. When I am in pain however, it can bomb me completely out of my mind while I ride the waves over and over and over high as a kite. This weekend, after pulling my back in a freak weight-lifting incident, I experienced the latter, amusing everyone who watched me heel-to-toe tightrope walk back and forth across the carpeted floor.
Subsequently, I remember having a fantastic weekend, but am fuzzy on a lot of the details.
Thankfully, the pain has subsided considerably, and I plan on taking the full week off for recovery. I'm only taking the hydrocodone at nighttime now, where the waves are still present, but greatly reduced.
